Carolina Piedmont is warmer and fuller in appearance than the Southern Light. It has a 650 fill power and can be used in many climates or in cooler bedrooms. You  have a choice of a Classic or Batiste cover. The Classic cover has a 300tc and is one of the most durable covers with a tightly woven twill weave and has a sateen finish. The Batiste cover is a 308tc lightweight fabric that adds very little weight to the down comforter.  It is cool and crisp, providing an airy feel.
